Two New online shows at Ely Center
What Now? is an online exhibition that presents and compiles global community responses to
the current global health crisis. The exhibit asks: What do we do now? How is the current health
crisis affecting you, and what does the future look like? Novels such as Brave New World,
Handmaid's Tale, Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 describe surreal and dystopian futures that now
seem eerily real, so what is the new normal? What Now?
Creatives working across disciplines are invited to submit to this ongoing exhibit, in which we
aggregate responses as they are submitted. This ongoing call and corresponding exhibit are on
view at www.elycenter.org/what-now-call
Your Pet Here invites the public to participate in a global show that presents our collective,
unifying love for pets and their unconditional companionship during such times of hardship;
participants are encouraged to send in pet-centric artworks or photographs of their beloved pets,
as we are each comforted by our furry, feathered, and scaly friends during these trying times.
