My work is both abstract and representational. My main focus is geometric abstraction, incorporating rich texture and color through the layering of ink and imagery. But I’m also inspired by the natural world, and conjure real and imagined places through the unique lens of monotype printmaking.
There is an element of unpredictability, spontaneity and chance inherent in the process that I wholly embrace while allowing a work to evolve, and direct me with each pass through the press. I strive for evocative, compelling compositions that will resonate with viewers on a personal level.
